For those that want to design a website, but don't have an interest in learning a host of acronymed coding languages, Gizmodo reports that Adobe has released a free Beta  tool for you gizmo.do/pm5qm0. The tool, called Muse, looks reasonably easy to use from the video.

Various intel is offered under the following categories: SEO Analysis, Visitor Analysis, Traffic Analysis, Revenue Analysis, Content Analysis, Link Analysis, Hosting Analysis, Domain Analysis, Server Analysis, Color Analysis (never seen that one before!!!), DNS Record Analysis, and HTTP Header Analysis. As you can see a pretty comprehensive selection. Unfortunately, I could find any ability to compare multiple competitors at once. Nonetheless, a decent effort at a one-stop-shop.

When a competitor site you're tracking changes, did you ever forget what the old version looked like? The Way Back Machine will help you out in many cases bit.ly/mWVpCE. While not all sites are tracked, many are. This tool could also provide you with a better idea of how changes to a competitor's site have trended over time, which might give you a better guess at where they're headed in the future.

The Irish Times reported today that Anonymous claim they will take down Facebook on November 5th 2011, Guy Fawkes bit.ly/n4mLrj. Given thier track record, I believe they are 100% capable of doing this. If you depend on Facebook for anything in particular, this might be a date worth popping the your calendar. 

I don't think too mant people would argue with me saying that Mashable is the leader in online social news by a long shot. And with the release of Google+ Mashable has created a really decent guide to Google's new social tool on.mash.to/rcFLji. If you're wondering what Google+ is all about, then this will fill you in. It also provides some more advanced tips if you skim the links towards the bottom of the page.

A recent mashable article showcased a great little infographic about resumes on.mash.to/rb8Ynw. The inforgraphic suggests using Georgia instead of Times New Roman as a font because Georgia was specifically design to be read on computer screens. Furthermore, the article points to the fact that when you search for 'video resumes' on Youtube, you'll get over 66,900 results. I'm going to go ahead and say that I think video resumes are the way forward. I really think they're more appealing to an employer who can get a much more personal feel for a candidate this way. Additionally, you essentially get to make your elevator pitch without the stage gate of actually being called in for an interview. 

Conduit Mobile has released a great free tool that allows you to convert your traditional website or RSS feed into a mobile website or mobile app bit.ly/nQ8nA9. I am still having difficulties creating my mobile apps, but I can recommend this tool as a fast and easy way to build your own mobile website.
